Continua la produzione della serie Marvel The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in Atlanta, Georgia, dopo lo stop causato dalla pandemia di Covid-19. Le nuove foto dal set dell’attesissima serie che debutterà prossimamente su Disney+ (via Just Jared) confermano il ritorno di Batroc il Salvatore, villain interpretato nel MCU da Georges St. Pierre e visto l’ultimo volta in Captain America: The Winter Soldier del 2014. Le foto ci permettono anche di dare un nuovo sguardo al personaggio di Sharon Carter interpretato da Emily VanCamp e all’attore Desmond Chaim (in un ruolo non ancora confermato).

In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, che dovrebbe debuttare su Disney+ in autunno, Anthony Mackie e Sebastian Stan torneranno rispettivamente nei panni di Sam Wilson (Falcon) e Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier). Al loro fianco ritroveremo anche Daniel Bruhl (Barone Zemo) ed Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter).
Derek Kolstad, creatore del franchise di John Wick, sarà coinvolto nel progetto in qualità di supervisore creativo e sceneggiatore. La serie sarà composta da 6 episodi che saranno tutti diretti da Kari Skogland (The Walking Dead, The Handmaid’s Tale).
