In occasione dell’Investor Day, la Paramount Pictures ha annunciato che Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, il nuovo capitolo della saga di Transformers, che arriverà nelle sale americane nel 2023, sarà il primo capitolo di una nuova trilogia.
Inoltre, questo autunno il franchise si espanderà ulteriormente con l’arrivo di una serie animata Nickelodeon, mentre nel 2024 arriverà un film d’animazione destinato al grande schermo.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts arriverà nelle sale americane il 9 giugno 2023. Il film sarà diretto da Steven Caple Jr., regista di Creed II. Oltre agli Autobots e ai Deceptions, nel film ci saranno anche i Maximals, i Predacons, e i Terrorcons. La storia sarà ambientata a New York e in Perù.
I protagonisti “umani” del film saranno Anthony Ramos (Hamilton, In the Heights) e Dominique Fishback (Judas and the Black Messiah). La sceneggiatura è opera di Joby Harold (Army of the Dead). Le riprese del film sono attualmente in corso.
