La Paramount Pictures ha diffuso online i character motion poster ufficiali di Ghost in the Shell, adattamento cinematografico dell’omonimo manga scritto e disegnato da Masamune Shirow, pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1989, che avrà come protagonista Scarlett Johansson.

Basato sul marchio di fantascienza di fama internazionale, il film segue la saga di Major, un singolare ibrido umano-cyborg delle operazioni speciali a capo della task force d’elite Section 9. Dedicato a contrastare i più pericolosi criminali ed estremisti, Section 9 affronta un nemico il cui unico obiettivo è eliminare gli sviluppi di cyber tecnologia della Hanka Robotic.

La pellicola arriverà nelle sale italiane il 30 marzo 2017. Il film sarà diretto da Rupert Sanders (Biancaneve e il Cacciatore) e sceneggiato da Jonathan Herman. Nel cast, oltre a Scarlett Johansson, figurano anche Jamie Moss, Michael Pitt, William Wheeler, Pilou Asbæk e Takeshi Kitano.
