In seguito alla notizia della scomparsa di Adam West, molte star di Hollywood hanno reso omaggio allo storico interprete di Batman nell’omonima serie televisiva statunitense degli anni sessanta. Adam West: il Batman del piccolo schermo muore a 88 anni
West ha ricoperto il ruolo dell’Uomo Pipistrello dal 1966 al 1968 per ben 120 episodi. La sua fama è legata anche alla serie animata I Griffin, dove ha interpretato se stesso nella carica di sindaco della città immaginaria di Quahog. Di recente l’attore è apparso in un episodio della nona stagione della popolarissima sit-com The Big Band Theory.
Il personaggio di Batman è stato interpretato da West anche nell’omonimo film del 1996 diretto da Leslie H. Martinson e tratto proprio dalla serie tv.
