Si è tenuta ieri la cerimonia di premiazione di Cannes 2026, la 79esima edizione del Festival di Cannes che quest’anno si è svolta dal 12 al 23 maggio.
A vincere la Palma d’oro per il miglior film è stato Fjord del regista romeno Cristian Mungiu; il Gran Prix Speciale della Giuria è stato assegnato, invece, a Minotaure della regista russo Andrej Petrovič Zvjagincev.
Il premio alla miglior regia è andato – ex aequo – ai registi spagnoli Javier Ambrossi e Javier Calvo per La bola negra, e al regista polacco Paweł Pawlikowski per Fatherland, mentre il premio alla migliore sceneggiatura è stato assegnato a Notre Salut del regista francese Emmanuel Marre.
